DTB type evaporation crystallizer is a kind of high efficiency crystallization equipment, the whole set of the unit can be designed automatic PLC control material temperature, flow rate, stirring speed, etc. Its unique structure and working principle determines that it has high heat transfer efficiency, simple configuration, convenient operation and control, good operating environment and other characteristics. Working principle
The DTB evaporative crystallizer is a kind of fine slurry circulating crystallizer, that is, the evaporative crystallizer with a guide tube and a baffle plate. The lower part of the device is connected with a elutriating column, and the device is provided with a flow guide cylinder and a barrel-shaped baffle plate. During operation, the hot saturated material liquid is continuously added to the lower part of the circulation pipe, and mixed with the mother liquid containing small crystals in the circulation pipe, and then pumped to the heater. The heated solution flows into the crystallizer near the bottom of the deflector and is sent to the liquid surface along the deflector by a slowly rotating propeller. The solution evaporates and cools at the liquid surface, reaching a supersaturated state in which part of the solute is deposited on the surface of the suspended particles, causing the crystals to grow. A settling zone is also provided on the periphery of the ring baffle.
In the settling zone, the large particles settle, while the small particles enter the circulation pipe with the mother liquor and are dissolved by heat. The crystals sink into the elutriating column at the bottom of the crystallizer. In order to make the particle size of the crystallization product as uniform as possible, part of the mother liquid from the settling zone is added to the bottom of the elutriation column, and the small particles flow back to the crystallizer with the solution by using the effect of hydraulic classification.
During the crystallization process, the supersaturation of the solution, the uniformity of the material temperature, the stirring speed and the cooling area are the decisive factors affecting the grain size and appearance of the product. The DTB crystallizer uses a special mixing paddle, and the temperature and speed of the mixing paddle can be adjusted to achieve self-control of the system, so as to meet the crystallization requirements of various materials.
